Shirley Injasulian Obituary

RACINE - Shirley L. (nee: Andersen) Injasulian, 84, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2005, at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was a lifelong resident of Racine, born on January 10, 1921, to Bernard and Clara (nee: Madsen) Andersen. Shirley was united in marriage to John T. Injasulian in Racine. She was a member of Bethania Lutheran Church and an active member of the Danish Ladies. She also was grandma for the Little Saints Nursery. Shirley had worked for many years at the Danish Old People's Home, managing the kitchen and activities. Shirley is survived by her children, Suzan 'Suzie' (Brian) Soule of Appleton; and son, Ted (Xiaoru) Injasulian of Racine; three grandchildren, Jennifer Soule, Jamie Soule, and Anahis Injasoulian; three great-grandchildren, Brit, Maeven, and Gage. Further survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, John on May 8, 1957; and one son, Mikey on October 24, 1968. Funeral services will be held at Hanson Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 14, 2005, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Paul Vandeberg officiating. Burial will follow at Mound Cemetery. There will be a visitation at the funeral home before services on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Bethania Lutheran Church have been suggested.
