Steven Urness Obituary

RACINE - Steven John Urness, age 66, passed away unexpectedly Monday, April 20, 2015, at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints Medical Center. He was born in Eau Claire, WI, March 20, 1949, son of the late Alvin and Betty (Nee: Hill) Urness. Steve graduated from Washington Park High School “Class of 1967”. He was employed by Johnson Wax Inc for 36 years retiring in 2004. Steve was a very caring person who was always there to offer help when ever needed. He had a great love for his family and will be dearly missed. Surviving are his children, Christopher, Lucas, Amanda (Timothy) Mohs, and Katherine Urness; grandchildren; Kayla, Destiny, Daisha, Kelsie, Tristan, Darius, Logan, Mason, Makenna, Izabelle, Madyson, Nariah, and Rylie; sister, Linda Mortenson; brother, Tim Urness; his partner and caregiver, Sharon Giron; his wife, Lin; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. At Steve’s request, a life celebration will be announced and held at a later date at Pudgy’s Bar.
