TyReAna Scales Obituary
February 28, 2008 - March 11, 2025
RACINE - With her family by her side, TyReAna Briana Marie Scales, age 17, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at Children's Hospital, Milwaukee. She was born in Kenosha, February 28, 2008, daughter of Tyrone Scales and Tracey Lee.
TyReAna was in her junior year at J.I. Case High School. She was on the Cheer Team and was a member of the Black Student Union. An exceptional student, she dreamed of becoming a pilot and flew a helicopter at the age of 16 over the Great Lakes Drag Strip in Union Grove, Wisconsin. She also aspired to be a chef. She had a passion for cooking, swimming, traveling, most recently touring Japan. She will forever be remembered for her loving, happy, cheerful and compassionate disposition.
TyReAna was loved dearly and will be sadly missed by her parent's, Tyrone Scales and Tracey Lee; sister, Brittany Scales Brother, BJ; nephew, Chayce Galloway; grandmother, Willie Mae Scales; special grandparents, John and Georgia Mosley and Janey and Rudy Smith; Aunt Ethel Lee (Broadway) Shirley (ken) Labraska Sharon (Dan) Steltenpohl, Paulette Ward, Marry Scales, Willen Scales; Uncle Mark Scales, Victor Lee Sr, Mark Lee; (flowers) God sisters Shilay, Victasia, Janey, Carriann; special friends, Raekwon, Janiah and FC; other relatives and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Sherval Scales, Manuel and Marie Lee Jr.; aunts, Latiya Lee and Cherise Johnson.
Funeral services celebrating TyReAna's life will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, March 28, 2025, at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 1120 Grand Ave., with Rev John Mosley officiating. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery. Relatives and friends are welcome to meet with the family for Visitation, Thursday, March 27th, from 4 to 6 p.m., at the funeral home and on Friday at 10 a.m., to the time of the service at the church.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of the first responders and staff at Children's Hospital for their loving and compassionate care, and also O&H Bakery, Pallbearers, family and friends.

Hello To Tyreana's mother. I know you and your daughter from O & H. I am honored that I had met her and had a good time with you two. What nice memories to have. I will keep you, and your family in my rosary prayers. When I get to Saibt Elizabeth church in Kenosha I will light a candle for her.
