PORTLAND - Janet Yvette Cyr Verrier of Portland, formerly of Biddeford, died April 11, 2016, in Portland.
Janet was born on May 5, 1932, in Keegan (Aroostook County), and was one of 11 children of the late Patrick O. Cyr and Marie Dubay Cyr. She was educated in Van Buren schools, and completed her education in Biddeford.

Before that, they camped in New York state, Canada, Baxter State Park and several other state and private camping areas, often visited by family and friends.
They left Biddeford in 2000 to live in Fairfield. In 2014, Janet moved to the Barron Center in Portland, where she made many friends and enjoyed the activities and staff. Special thanks to Fred and Sandra on 2 South, who helped take care of Janet, and to all the other wonderful people who touched her life.
