My condolences to the immediate and extended family - my heart aches for you. I have seen the various stories over the past few months and want to express my gratitude to your family for allowing this tragedy to be shared through journalism and transformed through donor recipients. Abigail looks like an angel and surely brought you all the joy parenting has to give. There are no words surely for the mortal pain we experience over the loss of a child. May the Holy Spirit provide to all of you until you see her beautiful spirit again.

I saw your story on the news and I was very sad that the world lost someone that was truly beautiful on the inside as well as the outside. But I know a heart as big and strong as yours can never be stopped and it has not. As the song or movie quote goes your heart will live on forever. I am an old man but when I saw your beautiful face/picture and learned what you did I know there is hope for this world.

There is kindness in life after death, your heart lives on. After seeing your father's emotional meeting with your heart recipient I felt your spirit of kindness thru a sudden cold breeze in my office, a chill of kindness..."it's working" to your mom and dad, we know not why things happen, still we make the best for this is life!

I did not have the pleasure of knowing Abby, I can not imagine your pain and hurt. My heart goes out to you all. As a mom of a bright and well loved daughter like Abby I felt the need to reach out and say your daughter is in my thoughts and prayers. She was a beautiful young girl who through the selfless act of donating organs is living on through others. Your daughter in her passing is a hero as she gave the gift of life. So very sorry for your loss. May she be safe in the caring embrace of the angels above. Hugs to all who love her.

There are quotations from AESCHYLUS that may bring you some comfort; I cannot mention them because I believe they're copyrighted. Book should be at local library. I came across it while in college at Michigan.
When I think of "Candle in the Wind" I will remember Abbey and say a Rosary for her. While the song may be for the "People's Princess" I consider Abigail to be Wisconsin's Princess for no one can deny that She is indeed a Princess !

I didn't know Abigail but her beautiful face with a captivating smile caught my attention and so I decided to read about her passing. I hope her dad find comfort on raising donor awareness through his bike journey from Wisconsin to Florida. As a mother of a 23-year-old young woman, I humbly wish all the love, harmony and strength to your family.

Bill, Ginny, Austin, and all of your families, I am speechless at the news of Abbey's passing. I only remember her as a little one when we lived on 89th St. A little cutie pie full of sweetness and energy. It sounds like nothing changed as she grew older. My heart is heavy for you and I'll pray for you regularly that you'll have comfort, somehow, someway. With much love and big hugs, Jen and Steve Argue

I taught music at St Anthony School where I met Abbey. I have taught many students over the years. But when I heard the news, I immediately remembered Abbey's face, her wonderful smile, and her sweet soul. Not many students leave such an impression. I am saddened to hear of her sudden passing. I wish to offer my sympathy to her family at this difficult time. Kathleen Latzke-Daley
