Adeline Dziobkowski

1922 - 2015

Dziobkowski, Adeline (Nee Kathrein ) born 1922 in Menominee, Michigan. She is the fifth child of Alois and Armella Kathrein of Austria. Adeline and her family moved to Cudahy in 1929. She attended the old "Lake School" on Ramsey Ave. in what was then called "Silverdale". Adeline was a seamstress who worked from her home until 1954, when she opened Adeline's Bridal Shopee on Packard Ave. in Cudahy. Adeline met her husband, Adam Dziobkowski in 1940 while working at The Dairy on Pulaski Ave in Cudahy. They married for 55 years. Adam died at the age of 82 in 1996. Together they had two children, Janet Beverly (Thomas) Rutkowski (1942-2004) and Linda Ann Buechin. Grandmother to; Tom (Liz) Rutkowski, Larry Rutkowski, Keith (Lisa) Salas, Rachel Rutkowski, Wendy Graham, and Christopher Buechin. Great-grandmother to; Nicholas (Tes) Rutkowski, Spencer Graham (1995-2008), Victoria Rutkowski, Jarrett Rutkowski, Stephanie Rutkowski, Hunter Graham, Chandler Graham, Heath Salas, Sydney Salas, Ziek Buechin and Marilyn Adele Buechin. Visitation Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at NATIVITY OF THE LORD CATHOLIC CHURCH (3672 E. Plankinton Ave., Cudahy) from 9:15 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:15 AM. Entombment at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery to follow. Adeline especially loved her cats and all animals. She requested that donations be made on her behalf to The Humane Society in lieu of flowers.
