Joseph Dziobkowski Obituary

Dziobkowski, Joseph C. Passed away on June 9, 2018 at the age of 91. Husband to the late Sharon. Beloved father of the late JoAnn (Keith) Drea and the late Anthony Dziobkowski . He was the last survivor of the thirteen children of Jon and Rozalia (Wozalia) of Cudahy. Fond uncle to many nieces and nephews. Caring friend to Danny K., Darlene P., Diane H., Donna K., Dorothy D., Eleanore M., Eva K., Janet B., Jerry B., Kate H., Linda S., the late Marianne K., Nancy T., Roy D., Sonny O., Susie D., Theresa H., and the late Tricia P. Further survived by many other relatives and friends. Joe was a veteran of WWII. He served in the US Army and was a member of the Greendale VFW Post #416. He worked in construction for many years, including as a truck driver for Tomaro Contractors. Member of St Veronica's Church. He enjoyed his walks around the neighborhood, traveling and helping others. He was a friend to all, especially those in need. Visitation Friday, June 15 from 10-11 at ST VERONICA CHURCH (4001 So. Whitnall Avenue Milwaukee) with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Zablocki VAMC Fr. Dominic Vitaliano Chaplain Services or Zablocki VAMC Pallative Care Unit on Floor 9 (both at 5000 W National Ave, Milwaukee 53295) appreciated. Special thanks to the staff at Zablocki Veteran's Hospital for the excellent care and attention they showed to Joe in his time there.
