Joined his parents in Eternal Life on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at the age of 64. Caring brother of Linda (Richard) Simatic, Denise (Rodney) Kalski and the late Sherrie (Craig) Morgan. Uncle of Michelle (Jake) Cheesbrough, Steven (Katy Adler) Slabik, Robert (Amanda) Morgan, Amanda Morgan, Melissa (Ricardo Valenciano) Weier, Jennifer (Bryan) Oleszak, Adam (Jody Galewski) Simatic, Andrew (Brittany) Simatic, Evan (Samantha) Simatic, Lindsay Kalski and Alyssa Kalski. Great uncle of 8. Preceded in death by his parents Alvin and Bettie Bercklin. Further survived by other relatives and friends.
Alan was an avid sports fan of all Wisconsin teams. In his healthier days he enjoyed his time outdoors, hunting and fishing.
Alan was laid to rest with family at Forest Hill Memorial Park. Private services were held.
