Angel Hojnacki Wagner Obituary

Hojnacki Wagner, Angel Rae passed away on 2/13/18 after a courageous battle against an insidious killer, T-Cell Leukemia. Angel was a 6th grader at Divine Mercy in South Milwaukee. She loved her school and participated in many activities including; girl scouts, student council, volleyball, cheerleading and church choir. Angel was also a student newspaper photographer. She especially loved to help at the Annual Fun Fest and often volunteered at the Milwaukee Catholic Home. Angel always looked for new challenges. She was a past member of the Cashel Dennehy School of Irish Dance. She loved her friends, glam and being a fashionista as far back as preschool at Seaton Children's School. Later she appeared on stage in several productions with the South Milwaukee Youth Theater. Angel cherished her American Girl collection. She was excited to receive her very own sewing machine after learning clothing design. She took pride in soldering circuit boards, inventing bath products and creating video animations. These skills and more, were learned at Discovery World. Angel is sadly missed by her Grandma; Theresa Owens, Papa; Ralph Hojnacki, Aunt TiTi; Caitlin Kujawa, cousin; Aubreana Del Real, Mother; Rachel Wagner, pet tabby; Minnie. Angel is survived by her brothers Warren (Lorrie), Nicholas, Alexander Hojnacki and many family members and friends. Special love is extended to Grandma Theresa, who spent every moment at Angel's bed side offering love, comfort, and support. Additional love and thanks is given to the Divine Mercy community for their tireless support, including Liz Dworak, Amy Kuehn, all her teachers, Angel's 6th grade class; Andrew, Emmy, Claire, Kaylee, Emily, Anthony, Daniel, Elijah and Jon. Thank you to Children's Hospital staff of Hot Unit, Clinic and ICU for their care and efforts to find a cure for Angel during these last 9.5 months. Appreciation to Special Spaces, Gamerosity, Positive Every Day, and Make A Wish Foundation. We are so heartbroken that your life was shortened by this awful disease, but we know that you are now in heaven, pain free, safe, and protected by our loved ones who passed before you. You are forever in our hearts and you will live on in our memories and prayers for eternity. Visitation will take place on Monday, February 19 from 4-8:00 PM at Northshore Funeral Services Chapel and on Tuesday, February 20 after 9:00 AM At Divine Mercy Parish, 800 Marquette Ave., South Milwaukee 53172, with the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM, followed by a church luncheon. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, make donations to the MACC Fund or Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to continue research.

she was my best friend since I was in 3rd grade. Every summer we were always hanging out. Maybe a year later we stopped hanging out, never talked anymore. Once I heard she had cancer, I couldn't help myself, it was before I went in school. I went to her funeral, it was the hardest funeral I ever went too. I'd never imagine one of my realest best friend's would die. I still love her so much, I have pictures with her. I'm just glad sh'es not suffering anymore. I will always love you Angel.. I'm sorry to your mom and grandparents. I still wave to them, when I see them. I'll meet you someday in Heaven. I hope your happy now. I'm sorry I didn't go see you when you were going through a tough time, i'm sorry I didn't say goodbye... I regret not saying goodbye. You will always be in my heart till the end.. I'll see you soon... I love you so much... I even went to your 13th birthday party, it was fun. Got to meet some of your friends. But I didn't stay the whole time of your party because it was too hard...
