Ann often worked with families and couples when things were dark. She had a way of bringing out the bright, colorful parts of their lives.
In her role as Director of the Family Therapy Training Institute she gave each graduating student a kaleidoscope full of moving color.
"Ann, thank you for sharing your zest for life with me and our marriage and family therapy colleagues."

I am so sorry for your loss! I want you to know that Ann significantly impacted my life, especially over the last 3 years. She was a gentle woman but also a woman of great strength, compassion and understanding. She was a gift to me just by her healing presence. The impact of this one woman will be forever a part of me! Know that she has made a difference in my life and in the lives of the many who knew her.

Ann Marie was the first of the Clark first cousins. She believed in family and led with love, demonstrating open mindedness and inclusion in a diverse, scattered family. I am devastated that we lost her so soon and so suddenly. I will miss her calm perspective, intelligence and humor. My heart aches for her children, sisters and brother.
