Our Sympathy to your family. The good times,memories at
Antigo Island Pelican Lake for the many years I was there
from 1936 on with our relatives there - Edith,Arnon,Mike, you
and the Alderson's and Fowler's who have passed on.
The many 4th of July picnics, games in the evenings and on
I could go.
Also, remember going to NO MAN'S LAND to visit you all.
Donn & Charlotte Fowler, Edmund Fowler, my parents are
all gone, and Aunt Emma and Uncle Ed Alderson,too.
I'm the baby left Gayle (83yrs) and Jody Alderson. I live
in Bradenton,FL and Jody lives in Palm City,FL.

Julie,
Susan and I were saddened to hear of the passing of your mother. I did not know her, but she sounds like an amazing woman who raised wonderful kids, including you. Her support of the AFS Foundation was generous and consistent. Her gifts were an extension of her love of teaching and enabled students to study abroad. That is a wonderful legacy. My heartfelt condolences to all of the Ebert Family. Anne leaves a strong legacy in the hundreds of young students whose lives were made immeasurably better because of her sometime Herculean efforts to introduce them to the pleasures and challenges to be found on the pages of a good book! May her legacy to them endure for generations!
