Anthony Popovich Obituary

Popovich, Anthony J. "Tony" Age 85, of Milwaukee, Passed away peacefully on Easter Sunday, April 8, 2012. He is survived by Dorothy, his loving wife for 61 years. Cherished father of Denise (Frederick) Traub, Darryl (Robyn) Popovich, David Popovich, and Douglas Popovich. Proud grandfather of Nicole (Joseph) Berg-Johnson, Jacob (Shannon) Popovich, Devin (Ashley) Popovich, and Lucas Popovich and Great-grandfather of Isabella and Jackson. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ann Bartoluzzi, brothers Emil and Eddie and sister Millie. Tony was a proud member of the United States Navy, during WWII. He was employed for many years by the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, and later with Milwaukee Stove. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2012, from 10:00 to 11:00AM at CLEMENT MANOR NURSING HOME CHAPEL, 3939 S. 92nd St., Greenfield, with Memorial Service at 11:00 AM. Inurnment of cremains at Holy Cross Cemetery will take place at a later date. The family is grateful to Clement Manor for the kind and compassionate care.
