Our deepest sympathies to all of the Patch family and relatives.
Art was truly an icon and will be missed by everyone who knew him. He had honesty and integrity throughout his entire life.
For 16 years I was his office secretary/receptionist while he developed first-class subdivisions and office buildings. It was the best job I ever had.
During summer months his teen daughters took over for me so I could be home with our son. It was perfect for everyone. In fall I came back to work and the girls went back to school.
When my husband built a rec room in our Brookfield home, I could always get advice from Art as to how to proceed with it. Same with re-roofing our home as well as any other building questions.
Late in 1989 I had to leave to accompany my husband in his job transfer to Peachtree City, GA. Before I left, Art, Bill & Bob Patch gave me a surprise champagne "going away party" in the office. It was so thoughtful and very much appreciated.
From Georgia I sent several photographs to Art of our local picturesque old "Starr's Mill" next to a dam. Art painted two beautiful watercolor prints of it and mailed them to us. I had them both framed and we and our son, Jeff & family, have them hanging in our homes. What a wonderful remembrance of his kindness and generosity.
Last June we sent Art a birthday card for his 92nd birthday on June 12th. I also called him and he sounded great.
Rest in peace Art, with your beloved Jackie.
"Thanks for all the fantastic memories"...
Most sincerely,
Shirley (and Bob) Rendl

Our deepest sympathies to all of Art & Jackie's family. Art was truly an icon and will be missed by all. He lived a long and extraordinary life.
For 16 years I was his secretary/receptionist in his office while he develped numerous first-class subdivisions and office buildings. He was always honest and had great integrity in all of his endeavors. It was best job I ever had.
During summers his teen daughters took over for me so that I was able to be home with our son. It was perfect for everyone, as each fall I went back to the office while the girls went back to school.
In late 1989 I had to l leave my job there to move to Peachtree City with my husband's transfer for his job. Art and sons Bill & Bob gave me a wonderful "going away" champagne party at the office.
Later I sent Art a picture of our local Georgia old "Starr's Mill" adjacent to a dam. He painted two different watercolors of it and sent them to us. Both we and our son Jeff & family have the beautiful watercolors framed in our homes. Such a wonderful remembrance of Art and his kind generosity.
Rest in peace Art, with your beloved Jackie.
"Thanks for the memories"...
Most sincerely,
