Barbara Roebken Obituary

Roebken, Barbara Dean 79, of Fort Myers passed away August 31, 2018. She was born Barbara Bakula to Robert "Bud" and Evelyn in 1939. Barbara married her lifelong love Jon on September 20, 1958. Barbara was a beautiful soul who loved her family, church and all things nature. Barbara was survived by her husband Jon, children Michael (Lisa), Timothy and Sherry (Bob). Also survived by her sister Bonny (Lowell). Along with her grandson Cole and sister in law Jane (John). In lieu of flowers please consider donations to the Make A Wish Foundation.

I remember many happy days I enjoyed with Barbara at Silver Lake when we were kids - swimming out to the rafts, walking over to Little Cedar lake picking berries along the way, playing in the dark on summer evenings while our parents and grandparents played cards. And then she married my cousin Jon.
