Dear Matt,
It has been quite a while since I our college days at Carthage, but I wanted you to know that my thoughts and prayers are with you, your family and friends.

I just wanted you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I know there are no words to ease your pain, but you are thought of constantly during this difficult time. I did not know your parents; however, the tragedy struck close to home as I lost a good friend in the same type of train accident 5 1/2 years ago in Tomah. Please know that I'm thinking of you.
