BG (Ret) Cocroft will be missed my many. This man gave his all to the Army Reserve as well as soldiers. I am very proud to have served with him. He will be missed by family, friends and Soldier who path have crossed RIP Sir!

The General will always continue to be an inspiration for me. He could have retired and moved on. The General serves as a model for all of us to keep on serving and never leave anyone behind on the battlefield or in the fight for benefits and the right to live a life with dignity after serving in uniform and defending the U.S. Constitution no matter their race, gender or gender preference, and decision to practice religion or not.
The General set a model of helping individuals where they are at in their lives in a non-judgmental welcoming setting. He made the basics of life possible when others looked the other way.
The General's contributions to everyone he helped to turn their life around, mentored and while still being able to look at life from many lenses set a high bar for the rest of us to follow.

Bob will be greatly missed. Bob was a kind and generous man, a dedicated, knowledgeable soldier. Bob served his nation and fellow veterans his entire adult life. His passing is a loss to all military veterans whom he served so well. Condolences to his family.

General Cocroft was a mentor, colleague and a friend. His presence left an indelible imprint on the Veteran's and housing communities. His death leaves a tremendous void. I am shocked by his death because he was so bad that I thought that he was immutable. Jacquie, my thoughts and prayers are with you and the Cocroft family.
