Dear Helen - I have just learned of Bruce's passing and I am greatly saddened for you and your family as well as all the people he has touched. My heart goes out to you. Bruce was one of the gentlest persons I know as well as having such curiosity and interest in the world around him. I am saddened for myself as well and remember our summer at Prairie and Wood Natural History Day Camp and the collaborative planning with such fondness and pride. All my best and love to you as you proceed forward.

My condolences, he soars now in the realms of light. He introduced me to Thomas Merton, a thoughtful and profound thinker, we were friends in HS.

My thoughts are with you all. I enjoyed Bruce's company so much on our Nicaragua trip and he was a great pal thereafter on social media, supporting my creative endeavors and so on. What a positive force. I feel blessed to have met him. Much love.

Our prayers are with your family. We have very good memories of Bruce as a neighbor and a friend; always smiling and such a nice person, open to the others and helping other people in need. We remember Bruce sharing his experiences in building houses with his church organization; it was fascinating.

Our deepest sympathy

Bruce was an esteemed colleague during the years we worked together on many projects at the Waukesha Family Practice Residency Program.
He was kind and caring. He spoke often of his wife, Helen, and his children with such love and respect.

Family was important to him. He cared for his mother, always treating her with kindness and respect. It was obvious, through his words, that he had an excellent relationship with his brothers.

Bruce contributed so much to this world!

My most sincere condolences to his family.

I don't think I've ever known or worked with such a kind and thoughtful man as Bruce. I so loved his sense of humor and his ability to provide comfort to anyone in need.
