Bruce A. Davie, Major, US Army (Retired)

Born to eternal life on the 5th day of the 12th month in the year of our Lord 2020 at the age of 72. Beloved husband of Jan Ovans Davie for 25 years. Survived by son, Chris (Ann) Ovans. Cherished grandpa of Marley. Dear brother of Brian Davie. Also survived by other family and innumerable friends.

Bruce, affectionately known as Major, was a proud US Army veteran who served in Vietnam, Desert Shield and Desert Storm. He received a Masters from Marquette University where he coached club football for many years. He was an active member of Lake Lodge No. 189 F&AM, Tripoli Shrine, The Highlanders, 4th Degree Knight of Columbus-Cardinal Stritch Council 4614, Sovereign Military Order of the Temple of Jerusalem and DJ/co-founder of the Double D Dancers line dance group.

A Celebration of Bruce's life and inurnment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Bruce's name may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children - Chicago, Dryhootch - Milwaukee or US National Army Museum
