Chuck was my grandfather. I remember him most for his sense of humor, which he had with him up until the end when most things had already gone. He will always stay with me in my heart and I will put all the card games that he taught me and my sisters to good use. The world needs more people like him.

Chuck: I wish Sharon and I could have continued the happy lunches we had when you, Dorothy, Dick Kuster, Dorothy K.and Irma got together. Those memories will be wih us forever. I know we made the right move when we asked you to be our son John's Godfather.
I also want to thank you for the time you spent with my folks, Frieda &George, I know they too treasured those times.
Thanks for adding to our joy.

To me he always was and always will be Uncle Chuck. Chuck was my Godfather and also my Grandfather's brother. I have too many fond memories of him to list here. I can't even begin to say what a great guy he was and how he was always there for me at every birthday party and holiday. When I was a teenager and it wasn't cool to be around my family, I still looked forward to seeing Uncle Chuck and Aunt Dorothy. He was dependable, funny, and a genuinely nice guy. No matter who you were, he always had a smile for you. There are far too few around like him anymore. Although at the end he did not remember me, I'll always remember him and the way he was.

Chuck...It made me sad to read of your passing, but I know you are happy being reunited with Dorothy again, your "better half." :) You were a great boss and made me laugh more than anybody else ever has at work with all your stories and practical jokes. I'll never forget the way you would make anonymous bogus announcements over the PA system at Oster then hang up and laugh hysterically. You used to crack me up with your ingenious concept of "midnight requisition." If any of your "girls" needed or wanted something for our desks, such as a stapler or garbage can, one would mysteriously appear at our desks the next morning! Your endless stories about your grandkids playing with the phone or Ralph the cat always kept us entertained. Thanks for a great five years at Oster and being such a wonderful person to work for. I wish you much peace and happiness in your next journey.
