Charles Gottschalk Obituary

Gottschalk, Charles V November 3, 2017 age 98. Beloved husband of 72 years to Jeanette (nee Rouskey). Dear father of Jordis Jacobs (William), Ardis (Joel Puleo), and Erica Gottschalk. Also survived by 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and his brother Arthur. Charles was a professional photographer and photo artist for over 60 years. He worked in association with many leading, talented photographers. He owned and managed studios in Illinois, Iowa and Wisconsin. Charles taught Photography at The Winona School of Photography and at MATC. He had presented programs before national, regional and state professional photographic associations. He was awarded degrees of Master Artist and Photographic Craftsman by the Professional Photographers of America and The Laurel Degree by the American Photographic Artists Guild. Charles was a proud secular humanist and active in Humanistic Societies. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday November 18 at 2 pm at First Unitarian Society of Milwaukee, 1342 N. Astor St. A reception will follow the service.

He was a great man,And a great great grandfather not only to me and my sister but to everyone. I miss him dearly but you got to keep moving foreword. I'm going to do photography like him one day.
