Charles Lomas Obituary

Lomas, Charles H. "CJ" III CJ found peace on Sunday, March 18, 2012, at the age of 26. He will be sadly missed by his loving parents, Charlie and Patti, and his brother Christopher. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends. CJ was employed by Wisconsin Steel Industries of Milwaukee as a maintenance supervisor. His passions in life included Ironwork, baseball, snowmobiling, motorcycle rides, and spending weekends with the family at the lake. His smile was almost as big as his heart, and he had amazing things to offer this world. He touched so many lives and he will live in our hearts forever. Visitation Thursday, March 22, 2012, at St Mary's Catholic Church, 9520 W. Forest Home Ave., Hales Corners, from 11AM until 1:45PM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 2PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to The CJ Lomas Recovery Foundation would be greatly appreciated. "Keep Smiling"

Buddy, Patti, and Christopher,

My heart broke when I received the news Monday morning about CJ. Life will never be the same for any of us that knew and loved him.

When my dad was going through his heart transplant Buddy, your mom gave me a bookmark with this poem on it. It has provided me years of comfort. I hope it can give you guys a little in this most, challenging time of your lives.

"The Reason"
For every pain that we must bear,
For every burden, every care...
There's a reason.
For every grief that bows the head,
For every tear-drop that is shed...
There's a reason.
For every hurt, for every plight,
For every lonely, pain racked night...
There's a reason.
But if we trust God
As we should,
It will all work out for our good.
HE knows the reason.
(Author Unknown)

I guess the reason was...Heaven needed another Lomas angel.

My love and prayers are with you,
Robbin

P.S. Uncle Mike's got his arms around him now. Him, mom and dad will take it from here.
