Charles McComis Obituary

McComis, Charles W. Charles Walter McComis, 82, of the Town of Sheboygan, passed into Eternal Life at home on Thursday July 26, 2007, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife, Anne; eight children: Charles R. of Grafton, Robert (Nancy) of Alpharetta, GA, Michael (Julie) of Port Washington, Dr. Gregory (Dr. Janet) of Munster, IN, Patrick (Sally) of Cedarburg, Dr. Mary of Brookfield, Barbara (Charles) Brill of Pewaukee, and Timothy (Laura) of Oconomowoc; fifteen grandchildren: Christine (Clay) Parks, Mark (Jessica), Michael Jr., Matthew, Kelley, William, Ella, Katherine, Jacob, Jordan, Benjamin, Samuel, Tevin, Erin, and Steven; three great grandchildren: Ansley and Tyler Parks and Madilyn McComis; two brothers: Curtis J. (Wanda) of Ashland, KY and Bernard (Sue) of Marina, CA; two sisters: Susan Elzima Frazier of Orlando, FL, and Geneva Mullins of Louisville, KY; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. In addition to his parents and first wife, he was preceded in death by six brothers: Clifford, Woodrow, Cecil, Calvin, Marion Jr., and Harold; and two sisters: Carrie Schultz and Wilma Jean; as well as other family members. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM Monday, July 30 at St. Clement Catholic Church in Sheboygan, WI. Interment with military veteran honors will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at Ballhorn Funeral Chapels, 12101v N. 8th St., Sheboygan, on Sunday, July 29 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM followed by a Vigil at 7:15 PM. Visitation will also be held at the church on Monday, July 30 from 10:00 AM until the time of service. A memorial has been established in Mr. McComis' name for both St. Nicholas Hospital and St. Clement Parish.
