FUNERAL HOME

Charles Muth Obituary

Went home Thurs., March 24, 2005. Chuck was born on June 18, 1932, the second of four sons to Victor and the late Irene Muth. Growing up in the Sherman Park neighborhood, the boys--Victor (Ann), Michael (Sharon) and Robert (the late Mary Ann)--formed a close bond that remained despite the challenges brought on by years and distance. Chuck married Lieselotte (nee Brandt) on Feb. 12, 1955, starting their loving 50 year journey in Hawaii, where he was stationed as the member of the U.S. Army. After moving back to Milwaukee, Chuck and Lieselotte raised six children: Patrick (fiancee Darthea Powden) Muth, Deborah (fiance Joe Monaco) Spurr, Lynne (Glen Cunkle) Muth, Kenneth (Pamela) Muth, James (Jane) Muth and Thomas (Kristine) Muth. He continued to share his love and lessons with his 12 grandchildren: Eric, Sarah, Erin, Sean, Andrew, Selena, Kelsey, Monica, Cameron, Jessica, Daniel and Annaliese; one great-grandchild Calvin and the many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who loved him.

Charles spent his life being true to his family, his profession and faith. He was the owner/president of Fensholt Marketing Communications Inc. and was the consummate account guy who prided himself on client service. Chuck was a devoted member of St. Catherine of Alexandria Parish, where he was a church trustee and Sunday morning driver for senior citizens. He loved watching and talking about sports, especially if the event involved a child or grandchild.

Visitation for Chuck will be at the Funeral Home on Mon., March 28, 4-7 PM with a Vigil to follow. Mass of Christian Burial at ST. CATHERINE OF ALEXANDRIA, 8661 N. 76th Pl., Tues., March 29 at 10 AM. Interment to follow at Wisconsin Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Catherine of Alexandria appreciated.
