Oh boy, I just read the obituary and was so sad to see that Chris has passed away. Chris took care of our dogs Millie and Emma and was such a kind friend when we lost Emma to cancer. The world has lost a true animal lover. I send my deepest sympathies to the family of Chris.

I worked with Chris in Lost Dogs of Wisconsin. She was always pleasant, helpful and committed to reuniting dogs and owners. I didn't ever get to meet her in person which is definitely my loss. May God give you Chris's family the strength you need to deal with her loss.

I met Chris 6 years ago at an informational session sponsored by Lost Dogs of Wisconsin. We were all new volunteers at that time (with the exception of a couple) as the organization had just recently formed. I remember looking at her throughout the meeting and thinking how serious she was. Throughout the years I found out just how serious she was about helping others in their search for their lost dog. She was constantly searching for matches, sending information to people via phone, text, email, she never gave up! She was kind, compassionate, and always positive. It always made my day
when I would log onto Facebook and see her posts! I miss seeing them and I miss her dearly.

Thanks Chris, and thanks to your family too, for all the time that you gave to the dogs, far and near..... Even if we hadnt lost our dog, we knew you would help if we had.... I know that all the puppies are there, meeting you at the gate... they are all ready to show you around the heaven place.... an internet friend...

Chris and I volunteered together at Lost Dogs of Wisconsin for almost five years, she was amazing to work with. Neither of followed or led, we worked together, I enjoyed our problem solving sessions! I miss Chris so much, I will treasure the memories. My heartfelt sympathy to Chris's family and friends.

Amanda is one of the most helpful and compassionate persons I have had the pleasure of working with. She must have learned it from her parents. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Chris touched my life as a pet care provider for my four small dogs and occasionally my 2 cats. Her love of animals was unequalled and she was by far the best sitter I have ever had including for my kids. She was an amazing person and will be greatly missed by our family. We are so happy to have known her for a little while. Our condolences to her family.

Chris was an integral part of our team at Lost Dogs of Wisconsin. She was the Vice President of our board and took on many roles in our organization over the years as we grew. Chris was always ready and willing to jump in where help was needed. She had a calm, kind demeanor and worked tirelessly to get lost and found dogs back to the families. I still look at my phone expecting to see a message or a text from her, saying that she has a possible match for one of my missing cases. We are deeply saddened by her passing but we feel her presence as we continue on in our work.

Rich and family, Chris was a truly wonderful and special woman. Thank you for sharing her with us.

Chris was a true advocate for animals, one who rolled up her sleeves and pitched in to make life for those she touched better. She had a concern not only for animals but for the families those animals were from. We will carry on... May her memory offer inspiration to us all. The world lost a good person. Lynn Olenik HAWS
