I entered Immaculate Conception grade school in Bay View for the 8th grade, and that's where I met Connie. She, my husband Bill, and I were in the same class. Connie was quick to laugh, kind, and smart. I remember being at her parents' home with her and a group of girls for a party, and what a good time we had--a bunch of kids, that's all. After 8th grade I believe Connie went on to Cudahy High, and I attended Bay View. I never did see Connie again, but always hoped we would have a class reunion and I would see her. We are so sorry to learn that she has passed on. She smiles out from our 8th-grade picture on our book shelves, and we will always remember Connie. Deepest condolences to her family.

Doug, (and Mel and Amy)

I just learned about your mom on Saturday, after the funeral... I was so sorry to learn about Connie and sorry I missed being there. I have many special memories of her: she was always quick with a laugh, always ready to lend a helping hand and a wonderful gift giver; a very kind woman with a huge heart.

I'm sorry for your loss and you are all in my prayers.

Dear Mrs. Roelke, Mel, Bonnie, Fran and all family members of Connie: My sympathy to each of you upon the death of Connie. After having suffered the premature death of my sister, Jean, in 1998, I can imagine your sorrow in losing someone so young and so dear. May you be blessed by the healing power and compassion of God. In faith, Susan Stack, M.Div.
