Corey was a dear friend. We came together through our common passion for community outreach. I am a transportation engineer and Corey was running a summer camp to expose urban youth to careers in transportation engineering. Our personal and professional relationship grew through various STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) - related activities.
Corey always had a smile, a kind word, a passion for his family, and a faith that was deep and wide.
The world needs more Corey Jacksons. Though we lost him far too soon, I am blessed and comforted by the time we shared. Love you, my friend.

Corey and I spent a lot of great times together getting ready for the camps of Transportation that he started. There were trying times as well but we all worked together and got through them.
