TRIBUTE TO A LIFE LONG FRIEND It all started in 1960 when steve & Ileen were blessed with their third son daniel the new baby brought much joy and was preceeded by stephen&Jim two older brothers The choren family was known as one of the elmbrook areas finest upstanding familys always demonstrating integrity honor& class this was the foundation of which dan would thrive from becoming a good student & friend to many during his school years he also loved sports you name it he playedthe remarkable thing was dan was a winner if you were lucky enough to be on his team you knew you had a great chance to win !HE also loved starting traditions in the mid 70s snowmobiling upnorth the day after christmas for 10 years we would celabrate his birthday sledding the northwoods he also started a brotherhood of deer hunting which went for many years very couragous and tough he was the guy you wanted standing with you in any situation the thing that stands out the most is the dan choren good time guarantee if said it was going to happen by god it did and it was good!in the 80s dano knew that living on okauchee lake was the thing to do a true leader he buys a house and invites three close friends to be roomates 2 boats a nice house four single young men okauchee lake wow! you do the math boy those years went by fast!!!the years rolled on good friends went on to start familys and continued making his mark as one of the best big hearted guys around always staying in touch and ready for your call if he knew you were coming to town for a visit he would drop what ever he was doing and spend a fun day with you some days dano would take his boat to party island to go for a swim next thing ya know 20 boats would be tied up to him then he meets the love of his life the amazing JOANIE she brings him much happiness for the rest of his life joanie i know this is a hard time for you but danos in heaven now and would want happiness for you in your future he is smiling to you look up smile and blow him a kiss steve & Ileen & family one of the toughest things in life is having a child preceed them to the lord dont worry be strong you gave a awesome life to dan he will have everything ready for you to join him in heaven GOD BLESS Perry Chmielewski(chmiel)

Although I haven't seen Dan for a few years I have fond memories of the both of us running out to Little Switzwerland in snow storms to go skiiing in the Choren Family Van.
