Daniel Pappas Obituary

Pappas, Daniel G. Found eternal peace on Tuesday, February 18, 2014, age 57 years. Loving husband for 18 years to Karen (nee Draeger). Dear step-father of Jessica Draeger and Jason Grosso. Proud "GranDan" of Owen, Sasha "Lady Bug" and Jaxson. Cherished son of Betty (David) Young and the late Richard Pappas. Adored brother of Geri (John) Krause, Judy (Jack) Wiggin and Craig (Connie) Pappas. Kind-hearted son-in-law of Bill and Donna Draeger. Favorite brother-in-law of Ruth (Todd) Bishop, Anita Draeger and Bill Draeger III. Dan was an awesome uncle to many nieces and nephews and a great friend to all. Memorial Visitation on Saturday, February 22, 2014, 10:00-11:45 AM at CENTENNIAL EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 3558 S. 24th St. Memorial Service at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Centennial Ev. Lutheran Church. And as Dan would say, "Word".

Karen I has been a very long time since our paths have crossed. You have my deepest sympathy for the loss of your spouse. I recently lost my spouse after 20 years of marriage on January 29th of this year. I know how hard it is to lose your best friend and confident. I hope you find peace and solace in the memories you have together over the years.

Hosie! you will be missed

February 20, 2014

We will miss his smile, we will miss his goofy sense of humor, we will miss his kindness, his mere quiet presence. Dan & Karen were a fixture & adopted member in our family for so long that our world will not be the same without him. He was a treasure & will be sorely missed. We pray that memories of him bring comfort & peace. God's Blessings to all. Our deepest sympathies, condolences, prayers & love to all. All our love; Petra & Dennis Blair, Tamara & Wallace Brunette, Danette & Jim Knowles, Dean & Jan Kramer, Helga Kramer

We will miss Dan's good humor, excellent company, and kind heart very much. We will also miss his most up-to-date information on anything to do with the Brewers or Packers.
His friendship was a gift.

My heartfelt sympathies and prayers go to you Karen. I'm so sorry for your loss. Dan has been suffering for many years and now he is at peace. May that knowledge also bring you peace. I loved talking to him on the phone when he called to tell me you were "on your way" to work, he always had a positive and fun-loving attitude. He will be missed.
