Fr. Dan Sherman was a gem! Our family knew him for many years before our bonus baby, later-life son was born in 1993. Upon hearing that we named him Daniel Sean, Fr. Dan immediately claimed that our little boy was not only his namesake, but also the "son" he always wanted. In fact when we would go anywhere with Fr. Dan always proudly wearing his Roman collar, he would enjoy confusing people by introducing little Dan as "HIS" son. :-). That was just one typical example of his sense of humor. May he now enjoy his well deserved eternal reward in heaven for eternity! Thanks for the wonderful memories & God bless you, sweet Fr. Dan.

Fr. Dan - an exceptional priest of strong character. He was a good friend to many people, especially my mom. They always cheered each other up. Thanks Fr. Dan for bringing us closer to God and to each other.

I was greatly honored to have Fr. Sherman as a friend for over 20 years.He was a wonderful human being and an excellent priest. I will miss him and I thank God for him. May he now enjoy the eternal reward God has prepared for him.
