Dear Brad, Sheila, Taryn & David: We were so sorry to hear of the death of your father and grandfather. He obviously was an admired man, both personally and professionally. How wonderful to have a namesake in young David. Our deepest sympathy to your entire family. Regards...Dean, Mary, Jon & Katie Klinger

To my dear friend Terry,
My deepest sympathies to you and your family on the loss of your Dad. I know what an incredibly difficult time this is for you, but with the support of your family and friends you will come out of this an even stronger person. I never got a chance to meet your Dad, but I felt like I had because of all of our conversations that included him. I know you will miss him terribly, but I also know he is happily reunited with your Mom in that wonderful place in the sky that we all dream about. Maybe he has even met my Mom and Dad and they are exchanging war stories! I thank him for serving our Country, and for being part of the "Greatest Generation".
Love,
Catherine Elliott

Mr. Baker,
Sir, I didn't know you, but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific during WW II. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy. The men who served on the PT Boats during WW II were some of the unsung heroes of the War-in the Solomon Islands, they went up against incredible odds in attacking Japanese shipping and barge traffic usually at night and suffering many casualties and also supporting combat operations and raids against the Japanese in the Philippine Islands as well-doing all this on boats made of plywood with no armor and the heaviest weapon being maybe a 40mm cannon, but usually only with .50 caliber machine guns and 20mm cannon and torpedos-I am in awe everytime I read about what these men did for our Country during WW II.
