Dear Lee,
As we reminisce about our friendship over the years we are reminded of the good times when we got together with you and Dave to share a meal, experiences and the ups and downs of raising our families. Our exchanges always brought laughter and our bond seemed stronger. A visit or phone call was special and welcomed - you and Dave were two special people we really cared about.
We'll greatly miss Dave and want you to know that we love both of you very much and will cherish the memories.

Dear Aunt Lee and family,
I am so sorry for your loss. It's never easy, even when it's expected. Please take comfort that Uncle David is not only no longer suffering, he is with Jesus now. He's also been reunited with Great-Grandma Gert, Uncle Denny, my Grandpa Gil (who, no doubt, is telling jokes to all of them), and most of all, Doug. May God be with you during this difficult time and always.
