Dear Faye,
Please think of this as being from Dale, too. I can say that because these are things about Dave that we often talked about over the years:
One is admiration of Dave for his capacity to take life as it came. He seemed to always know that there were good things coming down the road. Maybe that's why he had such a gleeful, contagious laugh and wonderful smile. I'll never forget the good times we had enjoying dinner (typically sweet & sour pork) at La Joy's on Lisbon Avenue. And of course, there were the chocolate chip cookies when you visited, and most especially the memory of Dave's and Dale's laughs and grins as they talked about the old days.
My thoughts are with you and your family,
Diane
