Dear Jennings Cousins,
I am saddened to hear of your father's death. What a nice photo of him! He is the last of that great generation of our parents.
At the same time, I rejoice in his passing into a new life - a life of joy. Your entire family is in my thoughts and prayers; enjoy your time of reflection and reunion. Your dad lives on in each of you!
I am going to have Masses said at Gesu church in your father's memory as I recall that when he was serving his judgeship, he often attended morning Mass at Gesu church.
Love and Hugs to each of you, Betsy

My Dear Cousins,
Here's how I remember your dad, my Uncle Dave. He always treated me like I was a person, too. He talked to me and listened to what I had to say. That's his gift to me. I also remember when he and my Aunt Mary, your mom, were engaged. They came out to Pine Lake. It was the first time we met our future Uncle Dave. Eunie and I thought he was SOOOOO handsome! I'm thinking of you all. It's always hard to see your father pass but I know his spirit is with each one of you.. With Love,
Cousin Tori (Desmond) Smith

Sheila, Maureen and other family members ... you are all in my thoughts and prayers as another "gentleman" leaves the fold ... having lost my father last month I truly emphasize with the emotional roller coaster you are likely on. May the week before you be filled with wonderful memory making stories.
