Dear Sharon, Craig, Chris, Krisha, and Anna ~
How terribly sad we were to learn of your loss. There is rarely an easy time to have someone so dear 'leave' us. For that, we share in your sorrow.
However, what a fantastic man he was; that is what we celebrate with you. Clearly, he was loved by many, and loved in return. Personally, I enjoyed his warm smile, twinkling eyes and a welcoming hug on occasion. While many of you experienced that often, it was especially endearing to me. Being so 'new' to the Wisconsin 'family', a sunny smile was always assuring...and that he did! Even recently at the ball field, he made a point to get my attention, wave and give that million-dollar smile.
What a gift you have been given in your time together.
Though it can be hard to be left behind, Dave is home, and that is what we celebrate. Peace, health and eternal life ~ and the promise that he is watching over you until you are together again.
Our love and prayers ~ Tara, Barry and kids :)

Aunt Sharon and Craig,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Even though we haven't seen each other in a long time, you have never been far from my thoughts. The world won't be quite the same without Uncle Dave. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help at this time.

Dear Sharon, Craig, Chris, Krisha, and Anna,
We are at a complete loss for words. There isn't anything we could say that could do justice to how we feel for you. Papa was an amazing man with a smile that could melt your heart and a hug that left you feeling extra special. We will be praying for you that God will give you a peace that passes all understanding. We love you and are here for whatever you need from us.
Love, Dave, Dyan, and Miah Wachsmuth
