Joan: One of life's saddest moments I would have to say is to lose someone close to you. Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may looking back in memory help comfort you and your family. The most important gift we can give is ourselves and Dave did just that. Nothing else seemed more important to him. He taught me that life was all about “relationships”. And sharing ourselves with each other. I found him to be confident in himself and in his place in the world, enough so that he would even sometimes laugh at himself. His sence of humor and laughter was contagious and he always had me laughing."HE MAY HAVE LEFT THIS WORLD, BUT WILL NEVER LEAVE MY HEART!" The two of you together were like a breath of fresh air when you would walk through those doors of the Delta Family Restaurant. There's something comforting about a restaurant with "family" in its name and not just as a tag-line. Dedicated customers like you and Dave are what make me want to go to work everyday. Dave also taught me that life starts with Family and ends with Family.
We send you thoughts of peace and courage. Love Jim and Theresa Poulos

Joan, Beth, Sarah, Teresa & Becky,
I wish there was something we could do to take away your pain. Joan and David have been much more to us then neighbors over the last 13 years, they are our friends. It is hard to imagine, not seeing David again. We want you all to know if there is anything we can do, please don't hesitate to call or stop over. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.
