Dennis and I attended Military Police School together and later served together as a members of the 552 Military Police company APO San Fransisco 96266. We were both promoted to PFC on March 24, 1971. Dennis was the only person I knew who religiously took his malaria pill every Monday Morning. He was a great guy. I saw his name on some old promotion orders and decided to look him up...... and found the obituary instead.

Our office just heard of Dennis' passing. We are so deeply sorry. Our condolences to you and the boys. Dennis will be missed by all-- what a nice man. He so loved to talk about fixing cars with the boys, cooking on his fancy stove and going fishing. We will be thinking of you all.

I am just amazed at how many lives my Uncle Dennis touched. The hospital room was packed, (we had to sit in another room, and we even had trouble fitting in there) and now the comments keep pouring in! For all of you who have left messages: thank you. It is encouraging and much appreciated. And to everyone touched by his passing, please take the time to let yourself heal in the best way possible. God bless :)

Dennis & I worked together on many computer challenges for many years. He was one of the brightest people I knew. I was always proud that I earned his trust. Dennis showed so much love to my young son Bob. He spoke fondly of many including his Nam buddies. His deep love for his family & friends was so apparent. No one is perfect, but Dennis cared and always did his best!

He would tell me over and over: “Rick, make sure you spend time with your kids, time goes by too fast”. As an officer he was polite and professional, he truly was motivated to protect and serve. Dennis, may GOD Almighty hold you in his arms and give you love. May GOD also watch over your friends and family and may we make you proud. You were one of the true friends I have in my life. To say you will be sadly missed is an understatement!

It is with great sadness that I read of Dennis and your loss. I remember him as a fun loving, yet very dedicated police officer, who I enjoyed at many police meetings and functions. From the police recruit class we attended together at Wauwatosa PD in 1973, and throughout our careers we shared fond memories of our profession. Please accept our heartfelt condolences. Gerry and I grieve with your loss.
