I didn't know Devin well but I know his mom and she is one of our favorite people and adopted 'auntie' to my boys. Her pain must be immeasurable and to lose a child unfathomable. We love you and hope that you can take solace in the happy memories from when he was born through now, because there are many. Thank you for everything you've been to our family and my boys adore you.

January 6, 2012

To the Langhoff family, my prayers and thoughts go out to you during this difficult time. Remember that Devin will always be with you. You now have your own personal guardian angel to watch over you. May the comfort of your faith, family and friends get you through this sad time.

Devin was the most spontaneous person I ever had the pleasure to know. I remember when we were in 7th grade and we would stay up all night playing video games and watching different animes. I learned to always wear socks with no holes in them at those sleepovers because if they did Devin would rip them to shreds and I would have to go home barefooted. I will truly miss playing world of warcraft, watching new episodes of bleach (devin's favorite anime), going to concerts and going to the park and the disc golf course with him and my dog, emma, almost everyday. I love you and miss you bro!

Devin and myself were across the hall neighbors for many years. Everyday after school we played every sport in the book. Wrestling, basketball, baseball, and even hockey where devin just liked the contact part of it. Devin was a good genuine person, always was there when a good friend was needed. The times and fun we had together were priceless, from almost giving our moms heart attacks with our crazy anntics, to you looking after me as kids. Ur legacy will forever live in those who had the honor and privilege to know you. You will be missed greatly by so many, god took you but who wouldn't want you on their team. Forever and always brother, rip

My deepest sympathies to Devin's family. I had the great fortune of being Devin's science teacher his freshmen year at GHS. He left me with fond memories of his various hairstyles and colors. I called him "Slipknot" for about a week before I memorized his name because that was the t-shirt he had on the first day when I made the seating chart. But Devin didn't mind, that was how he was--laid back and easy going. I am deeply saddened that he was taken from us so early. He will be greatly missed.

Devin and myself were across the hall neighbors for many many years. Everyday we played every sport under the sun. Basketball, football, wrestling and even hockey. One of Devins most envied traits was him timeless dedication to the ones he loved. All I have left is pictures and memories, which serve me well, it was an honor and privilege to know yourself and your family. Although your life was cut short, you will forever live on through family and friends. I'll never forget ya Dev, thanks for all the great times my friend.
