Donald Radtke Obituary

Donald F. Radtke

Donald F. Radtke, age 90, passed away December 11, 2020. He will be remembered as beloved husband of Nancy (nee Tausend), dearest father of Robert, Michael (Heather) and Charles (Kimberly), and special Grandpa of Robinson, Paige, Rainer, Tommy and Conner. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Don joined the US Army and fought in the Korean War before settling in Wisconsin for his civilian career as a successful salesperson for an industrial manufacturing company. Don was a fun-loving, outgoing people-person loved by all who knew him. He lived a long and fulfilling life, enjoying the company of thoughtful people, fine food and a dry martini!

In lieu of flowers, the family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to their favorite charity in Don's name.

The family would like to thank the ICU staff at the Zablocki VA Medical Center.

A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date.

I will miss Don! He certainly knew how to enjoy a good time with family and friends. We were fortunate to enjoy holidays and January birthday celebrations and he will be missed!! I will especially miss our singing duets while he enjoyed a specially prepared martini! My sympathy to Nancy and his sons and their families. Love, Dar
