Taitelman, Donald S. January 22, 2014, age 76, born in Milwaukee, WI September 4, 1937. Survived by his loving wife Sheila; children Michael (Lisa) and Lisa (Barry) Cohen; four adored grandchildren, Jake, Ella, Jordyn and Nikki; sister Geraldine Boym; nieces Gail, Lori, Sherry and Michelle; and great-niece Isabella. Don graduated from Washington High School and attended University of Wisconsin Madison for his undergraduate studies as well as law school. He joined Charne, Glassner law firm in 1962 which later became Charne, Glassner, Tehan, Clancy and Taitelman. In 1991 he joined Quarles & Brady law firm where he remained as a partner until his retirement. Don was a member of Congregation Sinai and a longtime member of Brynwood Country Club. He served as President of the Jewish Vocational Service from 1982 until 1986. He was on the Board of Governors for the Wisconsin State Bar Association and chaired the legal committee "Patient's Compensation Fund" as a representative of the state bar association. He loved his family, his friends, his colleagues and his clients. He enjoyed golfing, sports and was a voracious reader. The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and nursing assistants at St. Luke's Medical Center for their kindness and compassion. Funeral services will be on Friday, January 24, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Congregation Sinai, 8223 North Port Washington Road, Fox Point. Interment will be at Spring Hill Cemetery, 166 S. Hawley Ct., Milwaukee. Donations to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
