Uncle Doug was a great man, funny at times, enjoyed making people laugh. He would always go out of his way to tell someone how nice they looked or good of a person they were. I remember growing up he would always tell me I would be one of the people in the family to make it big. Whether it was playing football in the NFL or successful elsewhere. Never had to ask for encouragement when I was around him he always gave it. He will always be remembered and greatly missed by all of us friends and family. R.I.P Uncle Doug see you again one day

Doug,
You were one THE sweetest, kindest men I have ever met. I truly hope you knew how much you were loved by many many people. Everytime I think of you it brings a big smile to my face. I have so many memories of you. I will love and miss you always. Every time I hear a Beatles song and see a mash episode I will think of you with a smile..... Hugs Laurie

I was so sadden to hear the news about Douglas. It took me by surprise. I was thinking of all the good times we all had when the whole family would get together. It was all great! Doug is with his mom and other family. He'll be OK. R.I.P. Douglas. Your Cousin.

Hey Uncle Doug, I just wanna let you know that I miss you more then you will ever know. I am so glad that I got to see you on Sunday, got to tell you I loved you, and got to give you a big hug. You would always say just the sweetest things to me. I never had a men tell me I was beautiful as many times as you have. You always would tell me I was the cutest baby you have ever seen and I am such a special person to you because my middle name is Marlene. I wish we could have spent more time together on earth but I know you and grandma are looking down on us. You were the first one to dance in paradise with grandma. I love you so much. <3
