Eastman Joys

Joys, Sargeant Eastman Sarge, as he was known to so many, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 26, 2018 at the age of 85 years. Beloved husband of 58 years to LuAnn. Devoted father of Roger Eastman Joys (Lynn Feinstein) of Portland, OR, Heather Joys (Charlie Priest) of Atlanta, GA, and Wendy (Brad) Heintz of Thiensville, WI. Loving grandfather of Amelia and Charles Priest and Blake, Gretchen, Andrew and Broderick Heintz. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Friends and family are invited to a Memorial Gathering on Friday, March 2nd between the hours of 4:00PM and 7:00PM at Shully's Watermark Banquet Hall, 146 Green Bay Road, Thiensville, WI. After serving in the U.S. Army, Sarge became the fourth generation to be involved in the Joys Bros. Co., which later became Laacke & Joys. After retiring in 1997 he spent winters in Placida, FL where he pursued his love of fishing, and summers at the family cottage on Shawano Lake in Wisconsin. As an avid outdoorsman he enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, skiing and sailing. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Sargeant's name may be made to the COPD Foundation, Horizon Homecare & Hospice Lawlis Family Hospice, or the charity of your choice appreciated.
