Edwin Beyers Obituary

Age 80 years, of Crystal River, FL. Passed away at his residence under the loving care of his family and hospice of Citrus County on Friday, December 9, 2005. Edwin is survived by his loving wife of 23 years Patricia K. Beyers of Crystal River, FL; two sons, James Beyers of Ledyard, CT and Thomas Beyers of New London, CT; one daughter, Barbara Piscatella of Ledyard, CT; one step-son, Steve Parker of Delafield, WI; four daughters, Cindy Wisth of Grafton, WI, Lori Ravely of Menomonee Falls, WI, Sandy Bucher of Menomonee Falls, WI, and Carrie Parker of Franklin, WI; one grandson, Adam Piscatella of Waterford, CT; nine step-grandchildren; one brother, Robert Beyers of Bristol, CT. Edwin was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Beyers.

Edwin was a 22 year U.S. Navy veteran, serving during World War II, Korean and Vietnam era. Retiring in 1965 as a Master Chief Quartermaster. He was a past member of the Elks in Groton, CT. Edwin was an avid golfer, fisherman, pool and dart player. He was a Curler with the Mequon Country Club, WI. He was a loving, caring and easy going man with a great sense of humor!
