Elisabeth gave much of herself in teaching and bettering the lives of others and was honored to be bestowed with an honorary master's degree of Theology from Sacred Heart Seminary. She dedicated her life to learning God's word particularly at Sacred Heart Seminary and sharing it with those she met. Her greatest loves were her children and family who she prayed for daily. Elisabeth was known for her love of "The Land", music as she was part of a recorder ensemble, a giving heart, and as a dedicated sacristan for Hope Lutheran Church. Special thanks to the St. Camillus Nursing and Hospice staff for their compassion and care and especially her husband, Edwin for his love and daily dedication to assist her in her arduous journey home.

"Aunt Betty" will be missed by the many whose hearts she touched. Her dedication to the Lord and the moral compass she lived with was unique and special. I considered her a second mother and cherished the support, advice and unconditional love she gave.
