Elizabeth Sasse Obituary

Of Waukesha. Passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2005 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 75. Betty was born on March 31, 1930 in Buffalo, New York to Erwin F. and Mabel A. (nee Blackburn) Carstens. She was united in marriage to Lesley Sasse on August 16, 1952. She was active in Beta Sigma Phi in Waukesha, and enjoyed bingo, knitting, crafts and reading.

Betty will be sadly missed by her son, Rick (Terry) Sasse of Sussex and her daughter, Teri (Dan) Olshefski of East Troy; 5 grandchildren, Kellen and Kory Olshefski, and Kristin, Katelyn and Kimberly Sasse. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lesley in 2002, and her parents.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 4, 2005 at 7:00PM at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, with Rev. James Gorman officiating. Visitation will be Friday (TODAY) from 4:00PM until the 7:00PM service at the Funeral Home. Interment will take place Saturday, November 5, 2005 at 9:30AM at Prairie Home Cemetery, Waukesha (please meet at the cemetery). Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 2680, North Canton, OH 44720. The family would like to express a special thank you to the doctors and staff at Waukesha Memorial Hospital for their support and compassion.
