Ellen Makowski Obituary
Milwaukee - (nee Christensen) Passed peacefully surrounded by her family on April 2, 2021 at the age of 60. Beloved wife of James for 24 years. Loving mother of Greger and Collin. Caring sister of Janet (Gary) Kanastab, Neil (Cindy) Christensen, Eva Mueller, Marilyn (Michael) Wagner, and Paul (Carol) Christensen. Further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A private family mass was held at St. Pius X Catholic Church. If desired, memorials to the American Health Association appreciated.

I too worked with Ellen at Custer. She was a co-worker and good friend. I helped her move into the house on Hadley, was a guest at her wedding and attended her first baby shower at Custer-the only guy among the women. I was glad to have worked with her. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Your grief is shared.

It was a shock to hear of Ellen's passing. I worked with her for many years at Custer. She was a hard worker and dedicated to her students. I offer my sincere condolences to the family. May our Lord comfort you at this time.

I worked with Ellen at Custer for many years. Needless to say, memories of hard work and good times abound. Way too soon for a good soul. Rest In Peace.
