Erwin "Erv" Eckert

Eckert, Erwin "Erv" Retired Teamster (Local 200) drove himself to Eternal Life Saturday, June 20, 2006, to join his beloved wife Fern (Schrader) to continue their journey together until the end of time. Lovingly survived by his (their) 5 children, Cindy (Charles) Kuehl, Tom E. (Teri) Eckert, Linda (Brian) Rieck, JoAnn (Tim) Long and Gail (Randy) Gesell. Dear brother of Henry Eckert, Adline Lilach, the late Alfred (Pricilla) Eckert, Martha Kosikowski and Lillian Schultz. Also loved by 8 grandchildren, Allen, Dorie, Adam, Danny, Doug, Alex, Ashlee, Garrick; relatives, friends and co-workers. Special thanks to Lefty Buth and Elizabeth Nickelson (and family) for all their years of friendship and support. Born in Milwaukee, WI Erv lived, loved and labored, and died peacefully at his home in West Allis. Erv was very proud of his military service as a U.S. MP stationed in Germany. A simple man; wife 1st, children, work, relatives and friends, always leaving personal interests last. All of us will miss Erv (Pa) dearly. Erv's family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday, June 20 at Schaff Funeral Home, 60th and Lincoln Ave., from 4:30PM to the Service at 7PM. Burial will take place on Wednesday, June 21, at 10AM, at Highland Memorial Cemetery, 168th and Greenfield Ave., Brookfield, WI.
