Patricia Ann Eckert, 84 of Nutley passed away on January 25, 2026. Born in Newark, NJ she grew up in Harrison, NJ and resided in Garfield before coming back to Nutley the last 8 years. She retired as a Math Teacher after 40 plus years with the Lyndhurst Board of Education.

Patricia was predeceased by her parents, loving husband David Eckert, brother Walter (Bo) Stewart, sister-in-law Ann Stewart and brother-in-law Ray Walsh. She is survived by her daughters Frances Currier and husband Dave McAdam, and Mary Thiessen and husband Jonathan, her sister Maureen Walsh, her cherished grandchildren Matthew McAdam, Jake McAdam, Samantha Thiessen, and many loving nieces and nephews.

Patricia was an avid reader and loved anything to do with Math. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends during barbeques, summer vacations in Wildwood, NJ and traveling to Vancouver BC. Her most cherished time was spent with her grandchildren being known as Grandma. She will be dearly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Sunday, February 1, 2026, from 1-4pm. A funeral service will be conducted on Monday, February 2, 2026, at 10:30 am, followed by interment at Holy Cross Cementary, North Arlington.
