Francis F. "Cy" Robare

Robare, Francis F. "Cy" Born 1917 in upstate New York, Cy died on Monday January 29, 2007. He passed peacefully, with his family at his side. Survived by Amy, beloved wife of 20 years; daughter Lisa Robare Oberman (Billy Oberman) of Evanston, IL; son Kim Robare (Kyle Robare) of Western Springs, IL; grandchildren Eliezer Oberman, Julie, David, and Matthew Robare. Predeceased by Yvonne Robare, mother of Lisa and Kim. Survived by stepchildren Sharon Lavin (Joe Neuman) of Hartland WI, Michael Lavin (Karla Lavin) of Milwaukee WI, Timothy Lavin (Debbie Lavin) of Blue Springs, MO and Colleen Lavin (Robert Thiboldeaux) of Madison, WI, and many step-grandchildren. Cy proudly served in Europe during World War II, and for many years served as a volunteer at Froedtert Hospital and at St. Benedict's Food Pantry, where he offered warm conversations to all he met. Cy will be dearly missed. Our sincere thanks to the physicians and staff at Froedtert Hospital for the wonderful care throughout the years and in his final hours. A Memorial Mass will be held Friday, February 2, 2007, at 11 AM, San Camillo Chapel, 10200 West Bluemound Road, Wauwatosa, WI 53226.
