Dear Grandma and Grandpa McLeod,
I miss Uncle Frank but I know he is in a better place doing all the things he loved. I also know he was very proud of all of us and really loved you guys. I will always remember all of the things he taught me about music and movies and all of the long talks we had when he was with us. He is waiting for us and he knows we will be okay until we see him again. He was lucky to have you and so are we.
I love you Uncle Frank and I know how lucky I am to have a Godfather who is up in Heaven watching over me.
Love,
Gregory II

To my big brother,
I will miss you terribly, but I will cherish the memories of all the things we shared. Every time I hear a Beatles tune, I will smile because it will remind me of you. Every time I fix someones electrical issue, I will thank you for teaching me. You are a great brother and I will see you again. I love you.
Lynn
To my parents,
You are the best parents anyone could have. The way you unselfishly help everyone of us and our families, is incredible. Frank truely appreciated everything you did for him, he told me many times. I know how hard this is on you guys, but take comfort in knowing that Frank lived a great life, accomplished alot of his dreams and will be waiting to greet you. I love and need you both so much.

For Mary Janis (and the McLeods),
Some thoughts and hopes offered:
A distant chime.....
The bells' sweet rhyme;
The "Man in Black's" gone home.
Frank would extend his hand,
and in that mighty grip you found
a strength of purpose
honed by seizures' tight embrace.
He'd smile, then release a friendly vibe.
At parties joined with Jan and compadres,
one glimpsed his agile spirit
voicing words in rapid cadence;
truth to vast opinions and a timely wit.
And then that smile......fond testament.
My first encounter coaxes memory
of Sears' shining technologies.
The tall, thin man approaching puzzled client
with copious data and encyclopedic charm,
which turned a sale and signaled merchant's glee.
A distant chime.....
The bells' sweet rhyme;
The "Man in Black's" gone home.
I warm at Frank's dynamic sense of awe
As he'd alight upon a crumb of "topic."
No matter news or gizmo, music, laughter......
his boyish wonder jumped across the room
in dancing spirals of a universal child.
A snapshot glimpse of Frank and Jan together
still serves notice to this too severe a world,
that lovers can be friends,
who flesh out truth
which cracks the jaded; melts the hardened heart.
And so this gentle pilgrim comes upon his final prize;
The green tombs have openned at the loving tough of Christ.
Frank, who welcomed human touch,
may now embrace us all with grace-lined shimmer;
to thus know the home we seek is real.
A distant chime.....
The bells' sweet rhyme;
The "Man in Black's" gone home.
Dear friend, Mary Janis,
All the voices on these pages seem to sing a benediction for Frank the man. We stand for you with open hands and hearts as your hands open to send his spirit free. The world was truly better for Frank's being in it. It remains better because you still breathe its sacred life.
You are in prayer, thought,and reminiscence. Always.
Love,

To my sister Mary Janis and the McLeod family; Frank impressed me with his kind heart and vast knowledge of many things, his love for music and making others happy. Crystal your dad will be fondly remembered, you were blessed to have him, and he is still there for you. I reach out to my parents almost daily and know they look down and guide me still! I too love the oceans and will think of Frank and pray for all of you each and every time I am there. My heart goes out to the parents and brothers and sisters, I know not what you are going through, but pray for you as you grieve. Janis, my love for you is never-ending; I am only a call away!

To my dear sweet cousin Janis,
We all share this tremendous pain with you on the loss of Frank, and we all are here with you and for you, for we are all one family, as God intended from the beginning in the Garden of Eden.
The kingdom of God is not in word, but in power. In Second Timothy Chapter One, Verse Seven we read that God did not give us a spirit of fearfulness, but of power, of love, and the discipline of a sound mind.
You have the power from heaven Janis to feel God's love, Frank's love, and our love, through all of the confusion and pain you now are experiencing.
God did not purpose that any of us would pass away. That was not the plan from the beginning, and God has already made it right -- it's just a matter of time for all of this to be shown to us, as it has been unfolding from the first day the earth was created.
The Lord Jesus came to make things right, and along with defeating sin, Jesus defeated death too. We will all be united together again one day sooner than we think. Therefore, look up, take heart, and know that you are with God.
Let not your heart be troubled; neither be afraid: for God the Almighty Father is with you, through your faith in Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior, and through the unity of the Holy Spirit.
May the true presence of our loving, merciful God keep your heart and mind focused on the glorious future in heaven you will enjoy with Frank and all the saints, Mom and Dad paramount with them.
The grief and the difficult days ahead can be a time of promise, of healing, and of eternal blessing when you look "with eyes to see" and receive the peace of Jesus, which passes all human understanding.
From First Thessolonians, Chapter Four:
13 But we would not have you ignorant, brethren, concerning them that fall asleep; that ye sorrow not, even as the rest, who have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also that are fallen asleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we that are alive, that are left unto the coming of the Lord, shall in no wise precede them that are fallen asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven, with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first;
17 then we that are alive, that are left, shall together with them be caught up in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
Rest now, sweet Janis, rest, and let the loving angels of the Lord minister to you today and always, amen.

Dearest Jan, Although I only met Frank once, my instant feeling about him was - here's an honest, gentle soul, a man reaching out to please and love and find bliss in activities many find mundane. We connected with our music interests and he eagerly shared his personal tastes with me. I know that he is one soul that will find great bliss
with some of those - musical artists - who have ascended before him. Jan, we share your love for this wonderful man.

Janis & the McLeod Family,
In the brief years that I knew Frank, I came to know him as an intelligent, gentle, caring, and humble man---the kind of man that we need more of on our planet. I cannot think of him without remembering his wide, wide smile. While his passing will leave emptiness, I’m confident that your reunion with him in the next life will be glorious. God bless.

Rebirth
The scent of spring is in the air.
The smell of flowers everywhere.
Spring is just around the bend,
as winter comes to its end.
The flowers will come to a bloom
just to die all too soon.
For them there's nothing they have to fear,
for they'll return to bloom next year.
Like the blooms your life will end
and to the ground your remains descend.
But fear not, again you'll rise
to bloom before Gods precious eyes.

Jan,
I saw these two quotes and thought they were so appropriate for your current grief in the loss of your husband, Frank:
"Death ends a life, not a relationship." ~Robert Benchley
“Love is stronger than death even though it can't stop death from happening, but no matter how hard death tries it can't separate people from love. It can't take away our memories either. In the end, life is stronger than death.” ~author unknown
I extend my deepest sympathies to you and the rest of your family in your loss, and please know there are so many of us praying for peace during this difficult time.
With much love!
