Frank Vida Obituary

Vida, Frank M. Died peacefully Wednesday, November 7, 2012. Age 82. Beloved husband of Janet (nee Bublitz) for 57 years. Loving father of Kim Fehrenbach. Proud grandpa of Haley. Brother-in-law to Shirley Vida and Richard (Arlene) Bublitz. Also loved by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Frank proudly served as a Marine during the Korean War. He worked at the Milwaukee Journal for 41 years. Frank was also a longtime member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, West Allis. Visitation at the Funeral Home on Sunday, November 11, from 1 PM - 2:45 PM. Funeral Service at 3 PM. Committal at Wisconsin Memorial Park on Monday, November 12, at 10 AM. Please meet in the green parking area. A special thank you to everyone who cared for Frank in his time of need at Heritage of West Allis.

Friend and former neighbor, I spent many hours and years with you in the presssroom and the last time I was with you was when we golfed toghther in Kentucky some 15 years ago

Janet-
It has been quite some time since we have enjoyed visting with you at Holy Trinity, but we can never forget Frank's smile of confidence and warmth. He was a real gentlemen. We also have fond memories of the days long ago when our daughters were in school together. Please accept our condolences.
